Map Tour of Jupiter and it’s neighborhoods

Map Tour of Jupiter and it’s neighborhoods

Here's how Jupiter's neighborhoods are laid out - beaches, golf, schools, gated communities… all on one map tour

My name is Casey Prindle, a real estate agent that lives here in Jupiter, and today I’m walking you through a full map-based tour of the town. Whether you’re relocating here, like we did, or just trying to understand what’s east, west, or somewhere in between — this video is going to give you clarity.

I’m  going to break Jupiter down neighborhood by neighborhood. I’ll show you where the gated communities and golf courses are, which areas are close to the beach, which ones offer bigger lots with no HOA, and how far everything is from schools, restaurants, shopping, and the airport.

This is the exact walkthrough I give to clients who want a smarter way to figure out where they belong — not just scrolling Zillow endlessly. So let’s pull up the map and start exploring Jupiter, Florida.

If you guys have interest I can dive into different neighborhoods, property types, or things about the area, just leave a comment or email me if there’s a specific topic you want me to do a video on.

Let’s work this from North to South then east to west. Once we run through the general areas of Jupiter I’ll then circle back and go over some specific things people often ask about including: beaches, golf courses, schools, gated communities, boat dockage and marinas, restaurants, shopping, and how far it is from Palm Beach International Airport. So we’re going to pack a lot into this video.

So here’s a broad overview before we zoom in.  Let’s start up at the top here towards the ocean and begin in Jupiter Island, where if you have to ask what it costs you’re in the wrong place.

As we move to the west here of note is Jupiter Hills, if you’re looking for a gated community with golfing close to the beach this is a great place for you to check out.

Continuing west we hit Tequesta. The vast majority of housing in this area is single family as we head south towards Riverside Drive and hit the water. Quick side note here and this is going to come up fairly often when we’re near the water in Jupiter.  One side of the street which is against the water has values 10 times or more of that of a home across the street that’s landlocked.  It’s a wild dichotomy in pricing. Anyways, moving on.

In order to make this somewhat logical let’s head south but stay east of Dixie Highway.

Jupiter Inlet Colony is next up.  This is a really cool little enclave. I am often asked if this is a gated community, it is not. Also of note there are beachfront condos that run north of Jupiter Inlet up the beach, so if you’re looking for a beachfront condo, this could be a stop for you.

South of the inlet down to Indiantown Road you’re going to find a mix of condos and townhomes with a handful of single family homes off to the west closer to Dixie.

As we move South of Indiantown were going to get into some of the larger planned developments in the area. Keep in mind that we’re close to the ocean and these will be priced commiserately.

Beginning on the east here were going to be predominantly condos with some townhomes mixed in.  Popular building names include Jupiter Ocean, Jupiter Bay, Sea lofters, sea rise, Jupiter by the Sea, the list goes on.  There’s a lot here.  I do want to point this out.  At the time of this video the least expensive listing in this area was just over $300,000 with a high end just under $4 million.  So if you like the area you really can find inventory across multiple price points here.

If we head west here we first find Jupiter Yacht club.  Jump across the inlet and we’re in Jonathans Landing. Fun fact a lot of people don’t know there’s a condo building in Jonathans Landing, there is.  There’s also townhomes and single family homes, and of course a golf course.  This is a manned gated entry community.

Just below Jonathans Landing is the ocean side of Admirals Cove.  Of course there’s a golf course, of course it’s gated, of course it’s expensive. There are single family homes and townhomes here.

Crossing over to the east is the Bluffs on the north side of Frederick Smalls. There are some townhomes but predominantly single family homes here. If you want to buy a single family home that’s close to the beach in Jupiter, this is one of the more affordable places to do so.  I use affordable as a relative term here.  You’re going to look upwards of a million, but relative to other places in Jupiter this close to the ocean, this is a less pricey alternative. Across the street Sea Colony and Bluffs Ocean will be our final stop. Same comment here given the proximity to the ocean these townhomes are less pricey than comparable places in Jupiter.

Ocean Dunes is up next.  I like the architecture of the townhomes around Ocean Dunes Circle if you’re in to the beachy surf shack vibe, which I am.

That’s our last stop on the map here to the south as we’re hitting Donald Ross Road which means we’re into Juno and Palm Beach Gardens. Of course we kind of have to talk about a little community you may have heard of called the Bears Club with a golf course next to it named Trump National.  So here’s the thing, the Bears Club is where Michael Jordan lives.  I don’t really think you need to know more than that!  It’s a ridiculous place with amazing real estate. Quick funny side note to living in Jupiter.  Everyone once and a while someone will say I’d like to maintain my privacy, is that possible in Jupiter.  Tiger Woods, MJ, and half the PGA pros live here, pretty sure nobody will bother you if they’re not bothered.

So lets move to the west and run south to north. We’re going to be West of Dixie and East of I95. We’re going to start out with a bang here as we hit the monster of Abacoa!  Literally something for everyone.  There are condos, townhomes, and single family homes. This is a 2,000 acre community, it’s enormous. There are varying architectural styles ranging from New Haven which has a quaint New England feel to it, to Caribbean architecture.  It’s a pretty cool place honestly.  There’s also something like 20 associations in here, again, a lot to choose from! This community is really a video on its own but for now, this is where it is.

Moving on Admirals Cove West is right here, also gated and not part of Abacoa.

If we move over and hug against I95 we will stop at The Heights before heading north.  The Heights is not only the premier destination for Trick or Treating, but it’s also filled with single family homes which at the time of this video were predominantly priced in the $600k range.

As we head towards Indiantown Road there’s a couple communities I want to point out and call out as they’re pretty popular.  The first is Loxahatchee Club which has a golf course and is going to be on the higher end of pricing. Paseos is to the east of that and very popular with Buyers and to the east of that is Botanica.

Between Tony Penna Dr and Indiantown were going to find Jupiter River Estates and Pine gardens.

Stick with me here guys I’d say we’re 75% of the way through this.  I know there’s a lot, but if you’re serious about moving here, trust me this is a lot faster than the aimless driving Candace and I did for days trying to figure out all of this on our own!

Let’s break this next section down into this, between Indiantown and Center Street, and between Center Street and the water. On a map you’ll see the names of Sims Creek, Eastview Manor, and Pine Gardens.  I have yet to hear anyone say that.  Most people who live in the area will just say either South of Center Street or North of Center Street, east or west of Pennock. At least in my experience. You’re going to see a wide divergence in pricing here as you get closer to, or on, the water. There are some townhomes in this area in Jupiter Plantation and Sims Creek, but it’s predominantly single family homes.

Moving north we have to go across the bridges on either island way, Central Blvd, or Loxahatchee River Road. Starting from the east and what I think is one of the prettiest roads in Jupiter, Pennock Point Road. As you drive up Loxahatchee River Road the homes against the water are expensive, by anyone’s standards.

Let me digress for a moment here, just to the east is Tequesta. Golf Courses and boating abound here.

Let’s wrap up this section east of 95 by pointing out where Rialto and Bridgewater by Divosta are, I get a fair bit of questions about these 2 communities.

Traveling east of 95 first we hit Jupiter Country Club.  Basically split into 2 communities depending on which side of the road you’re on. First to the north is Sonoma Isles, to the South is Jupiter County Club.  These were built from 2010 to 2019 so you’re going to have newer construction age versus some other sections of Jupiter. There are townhomes as well as single family homes available here.

Finally traveling home and into the home stretch and I literally mean I’m home once we get out here, my neighborhood and an area near and dear to my heart, Jupiter Farms. There are no townhomes in the farms.  There’s only single family homes here.  BUT you’ll be on an acre or more of land! You’ll see horses and atv’s and side by sides, and animals. The vast majority of the Farms is not gated and HOA’s aren’t really a thing, save a couple of places.  One of those is Ranch Colony up to the North where its not only a manned gated community, but it also has a runway!

So that’s our basic map.  As promised a couple of bonus insights.  First lets talk about golf.  I wear golf shirts.  I wear golf shorts.  I have drinks in the clubhouse.  I am not a golfer and I know nothing about it.  You’re hiring me to be really good at real estate, not golf.  So I’ll show you where the courses are, if you want I can do another video on which are public and which are private courses. But for now let’s just look at where they are. I think there’s 16 golf courses within a 20 minute drive here.  I’m not kidding, it could be more honestly. We’re known for golf courses here. It’s kind of a thing! But now that you have an idea of the layout of Jupiter, if being close to a golf course is important to you, maybe this helps.

What are the best beaches in Jupiter? Man another video I should do.  So our favorites are Blowing Rocks Preserve, if you can find parking. Loggerhead Park if you want to look for sharks teeth while you splash around in the water.  There’s a decent sized parking lot there. Carlin Park because you can usually find a parking space. Dubois Park if the water is rough because that’s more a lagoon. But I can’t lie, our favorite beach isn’t in Jupiter, it’s up the road in Hobe Sound.  So a bonus you can drive up Jupiter Island to get to it, which is a really pretty drive. Hobe Sound Beach at the corner of SE Bridge Road is pretty special. It’s rarely crowded and we really like it.  Finally if you want to keep driving north up that road and want to spend a few dollars to park, Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge is WELL worth it!

Looking for a larger lot of land with no HOA? Come be my neighbor in Jupiter Farms.  Honestly I don’t need to write much more than this! If you want a large lot the Farms is where you want to be.

How far are these neighborhoods from schools.  Well, it depends on what grade level we’re talking about. Here’s the good news, we have highly rated public schools in Jupiter. I have a daughter in Jupiter public schools and our home search was largely based around her schooling, so I can talk to you a lot about this topic.

Restaurants, well, we have restaurants a plenty!

If you want to talk more about what it’s like living in Jupiter, or are considering moving here, I’d love to talk with you. Call me 786-443-7203, let’s talk.
