Palm Beach County Homes Under $750K Near the Best Public Schools (2025)

You want a great elementary school and a home under $750k? That narrows your options fast

If you're terrified of buying the wrong home and sending your kid to the wrong school... you're not alone—I've been there

Im going to speak from the heart here and to a very specific home buyer type. You have a budget of less than $750k. You have, or are planning on having, kids that need to go to elementary school where you buy your home.  You may be familiar with the area, you may be relocating to Northern Palm Beach County. You’re terrified of making a mistake that will affect your child or children. You’re totally spent between a lack of sleep, too much work, and not enough time in the day.  I know you well, because I have been you. So where do you even start? I’m going to take you through the exact exercise my wife and I did when we were moving out of Fort Lauderdale, where we had been for more than a decade.  We were taking our daughter out of private school and putting her into public school. We went and looked at all these same areas and all these same elementary schools.  I’d love to help you if you’re in this same position because I absolutely understand you.

My name is Casey Prindle and I’m a Realtor who lives in Jupiter, and has a service area in Northern Palm Beach County which includes Juno Beach, Jupiter, Loxahatchee, North Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach, Royal Palm Beach, Tequesta, The Acreage, Wellington, West Palm Beach, and Westlake. Let’s dig in.

First thing we’re going to do is head over to greatschools.org.  We’re going to filter out so we only look at public elementary schools that are in Northern Palm Beach County which I will define as the Northern side of Southern Boulevard. We will now search for those schools that receive a score of 8 or above. That will include the areas from South to North that include, but are not limited to Wellington, Westlake, Loxahatchee, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Juno Beach, Jupiter and Tequesta. Basically North of Southern Boulevard plus Wellington.

Let’s talk about what type of property you likely want to buy for a moment. I’ve been involved in hundreds of home sales.  I’ve seen the upsides and downsides and heard from clients the same things over and over again about what they purchased, and what they would purchase now knowing what they know. I’m going to limit this search to either single family homes or townhomes. Condo’s likely won’t fit your needs due to size constraints.

So what elementary schools are in our search are with a score of 8 or above? Right off the bat you’ll notice, we have a lot of highly rated elementary schools in Northern Palm Beach County, which is one reason a lot of people want, and do, move here. Let’s start at the top of the map in Jupiter and work our way down.

First up with a score of 10, the school my daughter goes to and the neighborhood we live in, Jupiter Farms!

Next up on the map is Beacon.  So Beacon is for 3rd to 5th grade. Before that for Prek through 2nd grade your kids will go to Lighthouse Elementary whichi isn’t rated.

Marsh Point Elementary is next on our list and our first stop in Palm Beach Gardens.

Timber Trace in Palm Beach Gardens, whose boundary is more of the southern side of Palm Beach Gardens comes next.

Here we are at Palm Beach Gardens Elementary as we make our way down

Conservatory school is next up, side note this one has a pretty large attendance boundary that sprawls from Lake Park, to North Palm Beach, up through Juno Beach. This school goes through 8th grade and has a focus on music programs.

Let’s stay on the east side of the map here as we move down before we head west.

Palm Beach public school is on the list, but given the boundary is the barrier island of palm beach and you can’t even buy a garage in Palm Beach for $750,000…. This ones not going to be applicable to our search.

Finally on the east side we’ve got Meadow Park Elementary. Let’s leave West Palm Beach and head west.

On the top of the west section of the map in Loxahatchee we find Pierce Hammock Elementary.

Just below that and a hair to the west we find Frontier Elementary.

In the center of the Acreage we find Golden Grove Elementary.

In our final stretch we have a tight grouping of a lot of schools!

Royal Palm Beach Elementary is going to be our first stop

Just below that is Cypress Trails

The 10 that shows up here is a charter school called Western Academy Charter school, again we’re going to skip over charters for the purpose of this video.

Finally here we are in Wellington at Binks Forest Elementary. Boundary zone here will be the  west side of Wellington.

Elbridge Gale Elementary School, Equestrian Trails, and Panther run will round out Wellington and that’s the end of our list.

So if you’re taking notes we have 16 options for you! Now we have to do some map overlays because we said our max budget was $750,000. I’m going to switch my screen over to my MLS so you can visualize this with me.

So out of 16 schools and 10 towns we come down to our list. Let’s start with single family homes.  Our total map area if we only filtered for single family homes, without price restrictions, we would come up with 2986 homes for sale.  When we filter down to below $750,000 our list shrinks to 1,186 homes.  When we overlay elementary school boundaries we go all the way down to 180 single family homes for sale.  Eye opening isn’t it? The market is going to feel a lot tighter for you as a buyer when you go down to a buy box this small.

What about townhomes? We start out with 812 listings if we just focus on geography. When we filter down below $750,000 we go down to 719 listings.  Not bad.  When we overlay schools, we go all the way down to 127

I know this process can feel overwhelming—because I’ve lived it. You’re not just buying a house, you’re choosing a school, a community, and a future for your kids. There’s a lot riding on this decision, and you deserve someone who takes that seriously. . I’ve walked this path myself, not just as a Realtor, but as a dad trying to make the right call for his daughter. If you're feeling overwhelmed or unsure about where to begin, I get it. But you're not alone. I've helped other families navigate this exact decision, and I can help you too. So let’s take all this data, your real needs, and build a game plan that actually works for your life. Reach out. Let’s have a real conversation. No pressure—just honest conversation.
